M. Edward Nagel is currently presiding as Director of Bands, Fairborn High School. Mr. Nagel’s most recent venture is the Fairborn Marching Band that participates in numerous band competitions throughout the United States. Mr. Nagel also conducted operations as Assistant Principal Horn of the Lima (OH) Symphony Orchestra.  He further broaden his expertise in completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Instrumental Music Education at Ball State University with an “All Grade Certification”. Prior to this, he served as Principal Horn with The US Air Force Band of Flight for ten years. Mr. Nagel has toured and performed with: The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, The Springfield (OH) Symphony, The Muncie (IN) Symphony, The Ohio Valley Symphony, The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, and Mr. Jack Daniels Original Silver Cornet Band. He has also performed with Rob McConnell, Bobby Shew, Glenn Campbell, Mac Davis, and Andy Williams. Mr. Nagel is a founding member of Conversation Jazz/Brass and a clinician for United Musical Instruments, USA. Mr. Nagel performs exclusively on CONN French Horns. He and his dog reside in Dayton, OH.
